It was on November 17th that the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario Canada (ICCO Canada) returned to the Liberty Grand to present the 11th annual 2023 ICCO Unico Primo Pentola d’Oro Awards and gala dinner. The evening began with a grand reception featuring a wide array of Italian appetizers and wines. Throughout the dinner and awards presentation we heard from this year’s inductees, many being Italian immigrants of humble beginnings that spent their careers working towards making a difference in the community for others today through their varied achievements. These were stories of triumph, dedication and creativity in the ever-evolving culinary landscape.
