EURIKA ! The California Wine Discovery took place May 8th at the spaceous Beanfield Centre. Presented by California Wines and the U.S. Consul General Susan R. Crystal, this was a day-long educational and immersive walk-around tasting to showcase over 400 wines from the sunshine state worth the trip to Exhibition Place.
The afternoon was for trade and media, while evening public event proceeds went as always to Second Harvest. The space was very welcoming with benches, umbrellas and patio seating in the Sensory Garden to take a break and a sip from some very special vintages. All would agree meeting with the actual winemakers and hearing about what you are sampling made for an enjoyable experience.
