There were many large events across the city of Toronto to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year and mayor John Tory attended most. His last was actually his own January 31st as the public and counsellors were invited for a reception in the Members Lounge of City Hall. Guests were treated to a bounty-full buffet of tempting cuisine along with several Lion Dance performances. Mayor Tory was pleased with how our city made this Year of the Rabbit so special to so many.
